Find My and PinShift.

PinShift cannot confirm whether Find My adopted or displayed a selected location.

Manual verification required

What PinShift supplies

PinShift works at the authorized iPhone’s developer-location layer. Find My remains responsible for its own account, privacy, caching, and display behavior.

  • Supplies the selected coordinate to your authorized iPhone through Apple’s developer-location service.
  • Keeps Stop and restore real location available throughout the test.

What PinShift cannot control

Find My and other Apple services can cache or interpret location independently. A completed PinShift action is not proof of what a remote Apple service shows.

  • Cannot access an Apple Account, Find My settings, sharing recipients, or another person’s device.
  • Cannot confirm what Find My cached, synchronized, or displayed to anyone else.

A safe manual check

  1. Use only your own unlocked and trusted iPhone.
  2. Start a short Fixed test and inspect the result manually without relying on it for safety.
  3. Stop and wait for PinShift to confirm restoration before disconnecting.

Finish every test safely

Keep Restore real location available until it completes. If restoration fails, PinShift keeps the session potentially active so you can try again.
