Behavior varies
What PinShift supplies
PinShift works at the authorized iPhone’s developer-location layer. Instagram remains responsible for its own account, privacy, caching, and display behavior.
- Supplies a selected coordinate to iOS for an authorized location-behavior test.
- Leaves post creation, place selection, and sharing entirely inside Instagram.
What PinShift cannot control
A selected iPhone location does not guarantee that Instagram will suggest, attach, or display a particular location. PinShift never accesses Instagram credentials or content.
- Cannot create or edit a post, story, reel, place tag, caption, or account setting.
- Cannot guarantee which places Instagram suggests or what it eventually displays.
A safe manual check
- Use a draft or test account you control and avoid publishing misleading content.
- Check the app’s result manually because PinShift does not read Instagram’s UI.
- Restore the real iPhone location before ending the session.
Finish every test safely
Keep Restore real location available until it completes. If restoration fails, PinShift keeps the session potentially active so you can try again.
