Behavior varies
What PinShift supplies
PinShift works at the authorized iPhone’s developer-location layer. Snapchat & Snap Map remains responsible for its own account, privacy, caching, and display behavior.
- Supplies a selected iPhone coordinate after the device is unlocked, trusted, and ready.
- Can hold one Fixed point or run an authorized movement test before restoration.
What PinShift cannot control
PinShift does not sign in to Snapchat, access an account, or change Snap Map privacy controls. It only supplies a developer-simulated iPhone location to the device.
- Cannot enable Snap Map, change Ghost Mode, publish a location, or access Snapchat credentials.
- Cannot guarantee when Snapchat refreshes, caches, rejects, or displays location.
A safe manual check
- Review Snap Map privacy settings yourself before opening a test account you control.
- Observe only the behavior needed for the test; do not use a selected place to deceive contacts.
- Restore the real location in PinShift and confirm the clear before finishing.
Finish every test safely
Keep Restore real location available until it completes. If restoration fails, PinShift keeps the session potentially active so you can try again.
